good morning - Looking at installing a device pack so we can add a phone that is not currently available to us. Sounds like this has to be added (TFTP) to each of the servers in the cluster (total of 8) and requires a cluster wide reboot. With the new device pack I assume there will be new firmware for all of the phones. My questions is when we reboot the cluster is this going to create a mass firmware download to all of the phones on the cluster.. 10K plus? Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks

There is. Go to device default and change the default from the newly added firmware back to the older version and save. That way after the reboot no phones will upgrade.

Thanks, so I would do this after the device pack is added and before the reboot?

Yes, just document what loads where default before, it'll make it easier to put back afterwards
