Device Manager & Vista

Has anyone gotten Device Manager to work in Vista at all? It installs, but won't launch. My guess is that it's something to do with the reworking of the OS and it not understanding Java correctly. Any work arounds would be appreciated. Also, does anyone have any information about when a 'Vista Approved' device manager will be released?
