Hi all,

Does anybody know of a device that can send sms to mobile phones in cases of emergencies.
We want this device to work while connecting to a 9500 NEC pbx.
The nec has an E1.

So if the users dial on the phone a code for example 39, it will send the emergency text immediately.

Thank you in advance

You can use UCE with the Emergency On-site Notification (EOSN)module.

Ok so not that familiar with the 9500 series, stopped working on these at the 8500 series and only just after they came out. However I am positive they can be equipped to have a contact set that activates when a number is dialled (door release for example). From there it is simple to add a device that can SMS a message on contact closure. Some IOT routers come equipped with this feature or you could use a cheap 4g router linked with a Raspberry Pi. Google is your friend here.
