Device fonts only in Word

I have a user that is only seeing device font in the font selection list in Word. Any other user can log in to the same machine and see all the normal fonts. I've deleted the users profile and recreated it, but the problem is still there. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Office and renamed the normal.dot file with no luck. Thanks for any help.

Check the default printer for the user. Either not there or is generic text printer.
