Hi, how do I find whcih /dev files are attached to my USB ports?

tia

I've never found a way to do that either. If you are dealing with USB, the you would try any of the /dev/usb/ttyUSBxx i.e. /dev/usb/ttyUSB01, /dev/usb/ttyUSB12 etc. For me, if I have 3 usb devices, then my options will usually be only between ttyUSB01 to ttyUSB03.

Ah, think i've got it.

fuser -av /dev/xxxxxxx

cheers

type dmesg and look at the output. When the driver loads/ or a device is added you should see something there.

Also, you may have a proc entry.
/proc/bus/usb there should be a devices file in that dir.
