Has anyone had problems with the device configuration in arceserve 9. I get a cannot configure disk, no particular reason and they are hopeless getting info from.

Device configuration in Bright store v9

When i go to the device configuration and start the config it runs for a little wile however it stopes with the message: Automatic drive assignment failed. Operaton has not completed successfully
I can then do the manual no problem just not the automatic on 9
