DEVICE BOARD HAS BEEN ACTIVATED ?? 1

Hi people,

I have a problem with BC11 system. From time to time some TLU76 boards do not accept traffic, although they are not blocked - SUSIP says that they are idle and free.

There are only alarms 114:

CLASS: 1
114 DEVICE BOARD HAS BEEN ACTIVATED

No other alarms.

001-1-10 TMU ROF1375335/2 R3D
001-1-20 57 NO ANSWER FROM BOARD
001-1-30 57 NO ANSWER FROM BOARD
001-1-42 ELU28 ROF1375334/3 R3B
001-1-50 ELU29 ROF1375339/11 R10J

I have changed LSU & DSU. No success.

What else should I do ?

Hi,
All device board in LIM are regularly supervised in routine test. If a device board does not answer on the regularly check, after a second attempt, an attempt to activate this board is done. If the activating of this board was successful, sends this fault code as an information alarm.
maybe you changed tlu76 free board position

I have been reading description of alarm 114, as well as you did...
I do not think that it is the problem in the backplane, system was working well for a long time before this trouble happened.
I have done LSFTI test many times, everything is OK..
HIMDP is empty....
Is it a software bug ? Is some of TLU 76 faulty ?

TLU76?
DSU?

TLU76's are ROF 137 5338/1 R8A, eprom is RYS 102 643/1 R8A
DSU is ROF 131 4414/4 R8B, eprom is RYS 102 328 R6A
Is there any problem with any of this versions ?

System software is BC11, SP13, application system Standard.

could be, try to lower TLU76 version to R6A.

are these connections to your provider?

i have a same problem with an ELU31/2 R7A in BC12 SP10. i changed with a new ELU31/2 R7A and problem has been solved...

Hi,
from time to time we had this alarm regarding
TLU75 board in BC9 CNI76. From 2001 when
we start to use it.
But now it's rare... may be , the traffic become
lower...
also the ambient temperature now is lower,
than it was.

Seems that problem is solved.
We have changed TMU in 1-1-10 some 10 days ago, and since than everything is OK.
