I'm sort of new to Borland C++ Builder. I'm using version 6.0 on a workstation that has a 1ghz processor and 1gbyte of RAM.
Something that has become a bit of a pain is that while in the middle of entering/typing code the cursor will suddenly go into a wait state which is represented on the display by having the cursor change from it's default mode (a pointer) to an 'hour glass' mode.
I suspect that while the cursor is in this wait state it is doing some type of pass or 'helping me' in some way.
I'd like to turn off this 'feature' and have Borland help me when I hit the 'go' button vice while I'm typing.
I suspect this is can be done by selectiong or unselecting an option but I can't find it.
Can anyone make a suggestion?
Thanks,
/jbs
