Developing Notifications

Can anyone either provide or point me in the right direction for a worked example of the Notification process via the Builder. I've put some data into the NotifyEvents table, but it just gets deleted by the 8999 agent instead of pushing it into LLEVENTQUEUE for agent 9000 to publish it to NOTIFYMESSAGES.

Some sample code would be appreciated.

Thanks for the PowerPoint, I already had the slides, but was after a worked example of how the process works so I can see how to splice my code in to get a specific event through.

I am not sure what you are looking for but we have created several custom notifications, modifications, etc. for Livelink Notifications using the Builder. Are you trying to create a new notification? Are you trying to modify an existing notification? If you can provide some more specifics we can tell you what you need to do.

We were looking to add some custom notification events for a new object type, we've managed to work it out with some help from OT.
