Developing a network management System

Hi everyone,

I am planning to build a network managment system...that can interact with almost all the major microsoft networking softwares such as Active directory,DNS,DHCP, RRAS and so on...

I am only a beginner with some what experience in microsoft products mentioned above. I would like to develop a single software utility that can interact with all the applications.

Can anyone advice me how i should get started for example which language(ASP.Net or VBscript) i should use to develop such an application?

Since it appears you are only interested in monitoring MS products I would use a MS product to write the app. Anything in Visual Studio .NET should do the trick.
