DEV/RM problems & 3rd party apps ?

Good day;
1. Are there commercial apps to undelete files on Sun Solaris 8 servers ?

2. Is there a way that we could 'detect' whats in place, to auto-rebuild an empty or missing /dev/rm/ folder ?

3. Why would a /dev/rm folder content disappear ? (Box is part of an Oracle cluster) Could it be caused by a bad RAID controller somehow ?

4. Which logs would be the best bet, to enable us to trace if someone has deleted that content ? or what process may have caused this.
