Hi, I need to investigate which party is hanging up on a large number of calls. I have 6110 with all of the smdr logs for the period.

The SMDR capture doesnt seem to deterine who hung up at all.

I'm just going to have a dig through the ccs trace codes to see if that can determine this (I recon its my best bet) but the switch if fairly busy (the campaign handles 2000 inbound and 2000 outbound calls a day aswell as other call traffic on the switch).

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks
Kenny

Sorry bud, Can't find it.

I believe it's possible but I can't remember how. There is an option that you enable and then the SMDR will show the < symbol or the > symbol to indicate who disconnects.

This might apply to the SX200 and not the 3300.

My memory is quite fuzzy on the subject.

Hopefully someone elses memory will be sparked by the above.

You will need to do l2/l3 traces on the pri and watch it will tell you

How would i go about doing that? 2 x embedded E1/T1 cards.

Thanks

Kenny

Check the help file from the "Maintenance Commands" screen, the "EDT TRACE" set of commands are what you need, the help file has the syntax and specifics on usage.
