I am using ASPECT to place telephone calls made from a modem to different telephones with automatic answer. Is there a way to determine whether or not the call made was connected (as in answered) or not connected (as in busy)? I tried $CARRIER, but this did not work because the telephone did not supply a handshake to the modem to say the connection was established.
