How can I determine which version of IP is installed ? Is there an command line utility or can I find this in the windows registry somewhere.

Thanks,
Lfoldesi

Installed or being used?
Any IPv6 installation will handle IPv4.

For used, if the length of the IP is <= 15, it is IPv4

There likely is a function in the SDK.

If you are trying to decide if the IPV6 is running or has been installed on your computer....

In your add/remove programs you will find the following installed..

Advanced Networking Pack for Windows XP

This feature installed the IPV6. You can also see that it is installed by going to the add/remove windows components then highlight networking and click on details and you will see the IPV6 components.

I have had some problems with this Windows Recommended Update patch so feel free to post your questions we'll be happy to help.
