I have a bit of a weird issue. I've inherited a website which no one in the organization seems to know the location of as far as the web host is concerned. Is there a simple way to track down who hosts the site?

Usually, you can find the host by typing in the IP address of your site. Many times that will take you to the website of the host. If that doesn't work, try doing a whois query on a registrar's site. Nine times out of ten, the web hosting provider is also providing the name servers.
