Hello,
This may seem a little unusual, but how can I determine what database is being used on an asp site. On some search pages there is a text field and when I type in ' and hit search the error message informs me what database is being used. That doesn't always work. Is there another way? Thanks a lot for any help with this.

If the site manager wants you to know, there will be a method to find out..Otherwise,myob [smile]

You can usually tell by the size of the site, if it has a bunch of data, lots of users then its most likley SQL and SOMETIMES mysql, but like Amazon.com uses oricle because they have tera-bytes + of shopping stuff so its a huge site. But alot of small business sites use Access, because if you are not getting over something like 150 connections at the same time there is no reason not to use Acesss.
