Determine Which User Compressed a File / Folder?

Is there a way to determine who enabled file or folder compression on a folder? This is on Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003 SP2 R2.

We have a policy that folder compression is not used, but I think someone is using it as a short cut to get around disk space problems. Several people could have done this, but nobody has admitted to it, hence the need to find out who it is. I can't find any event log entries for this.
