Determine Size of Rave Fields from Delphi

Is there a way to Determine the size (width) of a rave file from inside delphi before pushing the information to the rave file?

What i have is a string that i build in delphi and when the string is completed it is available for Rave to use and place on the form. On the form i've created a memo field and I would like to be able to check to see if the string is splitting at the correct place...

Don't know if this makes any sense??? Please any help is appreciated.

Not sure what you mean.

From what I can see, you want to know the number of characters in a memo field?
length(memo1.Lines.Text);

Maybe you could clarify your post?
