We have three servers on in each location, cannot find the tech that set it up, Is there an easy way to determine if the servers at the remote sites are PDC's or BDC's?

PDC and BDC are NT domain terms of the past. There are no longer PDCs and BDCs in 2000 and above active directory. Instead you want to know what roels the individual servers hold as well as if they are running as global catalog servers.

Look here on how to find role holders.
