Determine if remote modem answers ?

I am using Hayes Accura external modem to call out to another remote modem. I am able to utilize the modem responses CONNECT, NO DIALTONE, BUSY, and NO CARRIER to determine the result of an attempted connection.

Is there anyway that I can determine if the remote modem simply picked up the phone call ?
