Hello, in Access 2002, I would like to know what sub form control the cursor is currently on. I have a case of the <CTRL>F being redefined and need to know the text box that will be used in the find.

This information will be used to change the focus and find a new record.

Thanks

Have a look at the Screen.ActiveControl property.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thank you for the reply.
I have tried using the Screen.ActiveControl, but it does not seem to give me the information I am looking for which is the name of the control. I have used the command for the parent form successfully but am having trouble with the sub form.

Thanks
djj
