Hi Everyone

I need to develop an application which checks to see if a Compact Flash Card has been inserted into a USB Card Reader, and automatically check to see if there's a Word document on it, and if so print it out. Do I need to develop a Windows Service to do this, or write a Standard EXE app with a timer to poll the presence of a removable drive before exploring its contents? Is there a mechanism to detect an inserted Compact Flash card to trigger an event for my program to pick up on?

Thanks

Peace
