I have a large (too large to walk), multi-building campus and would like a decent way to actively monitor for rogue access points which pop up. We have a few access points scattered throughout the campus, but by no means complete coverage and no intent on looking to do that.

Is there any software or hardware which can be serviced from a central location to monitor the network for these rogue access points and notify users when found?

Thanks.

The campus is much to large to walk and consistantly monitor for each device that pops up. Also, we at looking for a solution which can detect and notify people of their presence rather than a manual solution.

You have to check their compatability list. Not all AP's and cards work.

But, It is a brilliant program, that will do exactly what you are looking for.

Cya,

Brett
