Detecting when an invoice is created

I need to detect when an order is invoiced - I need to send this data to another program more or less instantaneously. What are my options?

My environment is:
Advantage Series Enterprise Edition (Version 5.3A Service Pack 3)
My client uses web interfaces.
Database is Pervasive V8

If the database were MS SQL Server (which I am more familiar with) I would be thinking "trigger". Pervasive is new to me so I don't know if that is an option.

Whereas Pervasive does have triggers, they're not activated unless an ODBC/SQL call is used. Since Accpac uses the transactional engine for Pervasive inserts/updates, it's not going to help you much.
