Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to determine the settings of browsers using JSP? Is there a way of working out whether or not the user has cookies, css and javascript enabled / disabled in their web browser? This may be a javascript question or something along those lines, so I apologize if I am asking the wrong kind of question here. However any information will be really appreciated.

Thanks

David

You don't need to worry about whether cookies are on/off in JSP/Servlets because the servlet container will take care of it for you (rewriting your cookie in the URL if cookies are off).

You cannot determine settings such as JavaScript/CSS enabled on their browser.
