Detect SSL Encryption Level?

I am looking for a way to detect the SSL encryption level in my cgi script (perl, using CGI object) so that I may reject any client that isn't able to connect at the strongest level of encryption available. So far I have been able to figure out that SSL is active, but not at what strength. Thanx in advance for any help.
