detect proxy settings 1

I need to write a program which will download data from the internet. How do I detect IE's proxy settings? Anything special I should look out for when downloading over a proxy?

Or can I simply order IE to download something for me?

Try this for starting:
Make a reference to Microsoft Internet Controls.
Then try using these controls:
--Microsoft Internet Controls
--Microsoft Internet Transfer Controls 6.0

I have never worked with these but know that you can select the proxy settings, the protocol, etc...
