At any change in a field how do get a detail record to be created automatically. I know you can create a history record of the log change but I wonder if you can also log the change in the detail tab?
 
You can't do it in a real-time manner unless you use an SQL database and leverage an MSSQL trigger.

You could do it using a GoldMine Automated process, but then you'd need to 1. create the process and 2. periodically scan automated processes.

When I create the A/P and then I tell it to perform the action of Create a detail what do I type on the detail tab a Dbase expression? or just the field name?
