Detailled Network Monitoring Software

Hi

I am looking for a piece of network monitoring software that is compatable with different vendors - Cisco, juniper, Extreme, etc

Ultimately I need to come up with a professional detailled network monitoring solution for WANs whereby you can drill time to particular times of day and export useage information, identofy the most utilized protocals / applications.

I have looked at Netflow (however I think this is only compatible with Cisco?), can anyone else make any recommendations.

Have you taken a look at SolarWinds? I have used it in various environments and found it to be quite extensive for monitoring and being able to export from.
