I have a report which has several detail lines which contain 150 characters, however, when displayed on the report (can grow is selected) the field is cut off.

I'm surprised - it should work up to 24 for Crystal 8.5 and unlimited beyond that.

What you could do is use LEFT, MID or RIGHT to chop up the field and display the parts. You can also use LENGTH to find out how much you need to display.

It always helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

Thanks for the response. Sorry...I am using Crystal XI. I thought that it would accept whatever is in the size of the field using the limitation of zero. However, it is cutting off and am not sure why.

Found the issue. Thank you for your help!

Share the issue you found if you don't mind. Not sure if anyone else is but I am...

I'm also interested.

Incidentlally, my earlier post should have said '254 for Crystal 8.5'
