Detail tab in contact menu changed to table format

I recently bought a Windows 10 computer and installed Goldmine 5.5. Everything worked as before for a few days. But then the Detail tab flipped from opening a context menu (including Lookup, Find, New...) to now displaying a table view with three columns: Date, Detail, and Reference.

Now I have to double click the entry to open a window to see the Notes text.

you probably know this already, but GoldMine 5.5 was made in the 1990's and windows 10 was made relatively recently. GoldMine 5.5 was not supported on windows XP (or Vista or 7 or 2008 or 8 or 8.1 or 2012 or 2016 or 10) so at this point, WYSIWYG, basically.
