I would basically like to delete EVERYTHING off of my computer's hard drive, and do a nice fresh install of Windows 98 only. (Obviously I still want to keep DOS etc.) How would one go about doing this?

Boot to dos via floppy then:
1) fdisk, delete partition, reboot
fdisk, create partition, reboot
use floppy with cd drivers to get access to install stuff
move to cd and run setup
or
2) at dos prompt delete everything off except \win\commands
goto cd and run setup

But would also put the install stuff on the hard drive and install from there. It makes life so much easier. Ed Fair

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.

Thank you!! If you don't see me back on here for a few months, you know what happened! (My luck, lol.)

Thanks again
