me again on my two PRI's, cant dial 9 pluss 3 and a 1 right now what I have built is 9any route 001 pri absorb 1
99any route 001 pri absorb 1, 93any route 001 pri absorb 1
you can dial any combo from 9xxx-xxxx, 9-xxx-xxx-xxxx, 9-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx with any digit but you cant dial 9-3pluss 1
and when I view it in the dest code table you where is tells you what digits are assined or unavalable the digit 1 is not avalable, so I tried to build a dest code 931 but I cant.
what ever happed to the easy way out-9any route 001pri and call MARS if you want too.

You should be able to do just 9any as long as 9 is available. Where did you use the Veiw command in 9any or 93any?

it was the 93any that offered the view, the hole picture to this is the system has been running fine for years with one PRI dial 9any route 001 PRI absorb all, then we installed the secound PRI, we went ahead and put in the secound combo card and the secound DTI card powered up connected curcuites all seemed well, and before I could get out of there dialing 9 pluss another 9 wouldn't happen, so I built des code 99any route 001 absorb 1 and all is good oh yea changes the Pub dn lenth from 7 to 10 because of a 931 non long distance area code that had to be dialed for surrounding citys. so all is well then some one discovered they couldnt dial 9+31 and I couldnt build a des code route with the 93 and the 1 it wouldnt take it.
im lost and I havent ever realy been taxed on having to build much more than 9any and go

I don't think you need the 93 etc.
also why not have both PRI's set as Pool PRI-A?

out of curiosity are you getting the secondary dial tone in the right places?

Tips - The destination codes 9 and 91 used in the examples
cannot be used together. If the destination code 91 is needed to
direct long distance calls, you must create a separate set of
codes that use local calling routes. These codes would be, for
example, 90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98 and 99. See Wild card
character on page 396 for information about programming
destination codes

PRI dialing plan example for two-way DID
The following list shows the steps involved in configuring a
dialing plan for two-way DID which uses a Public service. In
this example the user dials the prefix 8 to place a call over a
PRI line.
Note: Call-by-call is not needed to have two-way DID.
• in Hardware programming, configure the DTI card (PRI)
to use a Public protocol
• for incoming calls you need to program target lines to
match the DID digit that is being received on the PRI
interface
• set Dial Out to None
• select PRI-A as the line pool
• set SrvcType to Public
• in Services programming access Routing Service to
enter a Destination Code (8 in this example)
• set the Absorb Length to All
• the telephone that you are dialing out from must have
access to the PRI Pool (programmed in Terminals/Sets)
• define rec’d digits for target lines
• define limits for incoming and outgoing public calls. Refer
to Programming Call by Call Limits on page 475

Hey Jerry, yes both PRI's are in PRI-A I havent been back over today but after reviewing you guys input it sounds like I have a digit conflict and I may have to use something other than dial 9.
Thanks also for the tips from thr manual.
