Desperate need of help with DND feature

I have a customer with a MICS 5.0 and a 4.0 NAM. When a call comes thru the voice mail AA to a phone and DND is turned on it goes straight to the mailbox, but if anyone transfers a call to someone with DND on; it comes back to them instead of going to the VMbox. The customer is livid about not wanting to use Fwd and the VM DN, instead he wants to touch one button and send ALL calls to the respective mailbox for that extension. HELP.......I've tried all that I know to make this work and I still cannot get it. I'm fresh out of ideas.

With NAM you can setup a button with feat984. This will foward to voice mail without the customer having to enter the vm dn. Also, if you are going to use feat984 you have to be carefull with ringing line appearences on the phone -as they will go to the personal mbx instead of AA depending on timing. Explain to the customer why the two features dont work the same- if they did and you put your phone on DND ringing lines would go to your MBX. If he has no ringing line appearence and he wants just one button, program feat984 and label it DND if it makes him happy.

F984 used to be the code to reset the time on a Star Talk Mini. What release of NVM has the new F984?

NAM 4.0 uses F984 -fwd to VM

Do you have the extension set to foward on busy to the NAM DN? If not, that should solve your problem.
