Ok, hopefully I can explain this right. I have a report that shows records of daily reports based on a date range. In a subreport, there are one or many pictures linked to each record in the main report. There is plenty of room for a picture to land on the page with the record of data, but it moves to the next page. And if there is two pictures, it moves to the next page after that (even though when viewing the sub report separately, it fits two to a page.) I have all the can grows and can shrinks set to YES. I also have the subreport squeezed up very short in the group footer so that it doesn't take up any more space than it should. I cannot figure out how to get it to land on the page properly. Please help!! I have spent hours on this and I just can't take it any longer.

While I can appreciate the angst ... getting useful help on this would seem to require access to the report and the underlying mechanics (data; queries; code ...).

you might look at the properties of the subreport. There could be something to cause it to be positioned specifically?

Hi Michael, how are you?

I have tried everything I can think of, looked at all the properties of the report and the subreport. Any specific ideas?

Ensure that it is using the default printer. Change the default printer and see if that helps.

Cutepdf is a good free open source pdf printer. Either it will print right to a pdf printer or not. If that works, print the PDF and see if that gives the desired result.

I find that most printers do not like margins less than .25"

You may also try adding just a hair of space below the picture in the report. Maybe the picture control is forcing something weird? You might have to turn off can grow and can shrink for this to work right.

Got it! (Keep Together = no in section footer properties, not just grouping box) It ended up being such and easy answer, yet was so hard for me to get help I needed it on this.
