When on a Win2K Thinkpad, and initiating Citrix client, the following happens: 1) authentication to domain - no problem 2)desktop appears to be attempting to load, but no activity takes place - no scripts run - desktop never loads. 3) Looking at connection status, no incoming traffic. Outgoing (on mouse moves) txmitting. 4)If I authenticate to ICA client with different credentials, everything works fine. These problems only occur on a single set of credentials on this particular machine. Same credentials on different machine, no problem. I suspect something tied to cache inside user profile? Any help would be useful.

Thanks,
William Zarco

How about different credentials on the same Thinkpad? Could be your Client settings. If you are running FR1 (Feature Release 1) which gives you greater display resolution capabilities, then you need to be very careful about your client settings; If you configure your published application at 1600x1200 and your client at something less I have seen exactly what you describe without even an error being reported. -- Devil Dog --

Devil Dog,

Thanks for the tip. Got the problem fixed by simply creating a new profile on the Citrix Server. What we used to call a "drastic dope change" like on the range.

Do or die... Sounds more like 'Kentucky windage'.

(too many places and too many units to mention - but all aviation... I sure do miss it!) Semper FI!
