iBook - 384 megs ram, 800 mhz cpu - about one yr old. i boot off the store bought os x 10.2 cd - do a "erase" & install os. WHen it is at the part where it is installing applications from disk 2 - I get error - "mac os x setup assistant cannot be used with this monitor".
I can press go to get by - but now the desktop area is like 50% too small.
I rebooted several times and I did another erase & reinstall.
I cannot find a ctrl panel that lets me change this...in the "display" ctr panel - I only see one resolution listed 1064 X 768 or whatever...no option to pic another res.
