Our company just ordered approximately 200 new HP ultra slim desktops. We are putting a company load of software on these machines. Now the problem...Whenever someone tries to rename a file or folder on a CDRW the computer does not save the information and reboots itself. There is no shutdown sequence, it just shuts completely off and boots back up. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

Does this happen on all 200? or just some out of the Group?

This is happening on every one of them. Our company doesnt allow outside OS loads so we have to use the OS that they provide. So, I cant figure out if it is a conflict with our software or not.

So with 200 clients, i would assume that you imaged them?? or were they delivered preloaded? The OS specifically?

Look to a problem with the image...

Load a single station from actual media, to create a stable load then image this.

Thanks, I'll put a single load on it and update if things are working.

Well, Ive got it narrowed to the software "Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator Basic Edition" Causes a lot of problems and headaches.

Roxio is known to have a conflict with some AV software - check the Roxio site for updates/patches.
