Admins,
What OS do you run on your admin machine, Server 2008 or Windows 7? I used to run Windows 2000 Server on my admin machine just to make AD tasks easier to do. Thanks.

As I recently bought myself a new machine with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, instead of scrapping the OS like I did on my old desktop (put Server 2003 on that one), I decided to just run my server images under VMWare workstation instead.

I no longer install local copies of any of the admin tools. I use Remote Desktop to connect to a domain controller, exchange server, etc. and run the tools natively on those machines.

Thanks for the info. I had forgotten about Remote Desktop, thanks for the reminder.
