I've browsed the previous posts a bit to find a solution to XP Professional's reported incompatiblity with with Desktop Messaging on a NAM. Is there a patch yet? Any related information would be appreciated.

Talk to your reseller. There is a beta version that supports officeXP. I've had several users at my site testing it before I roll it out, and they've reported no problems.
