I have tried to install Desktop Messaging on a PC and while I can fax to my hearts content, when I try to add "Call Pilot to the Default Mail Profile", I get an error message window and it won't add the mailbox to my Outlook.
The window that appears says "CallPilot has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenienc."
If I click on the debug button, nothing happens. If I click on the "For more information about this problem, click here", a new window pops up and provides the following information:
Error Signature
AppName: nmdcinst.exe AppVer:4.4.4.32 ModName:msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180 Offset: 000218ae
I have tried to uninstall Desktop Messaging, remove all registry entries, reinstall Desktop Messaging, and even rebuilding Outlook 2003 with no luck.
Has anyone seen this before and if so what did you do to fix it..??
Thanks in advance.
