Today I tried to install the VM 4.0 Desktop Messaging CLient on an XP professional workstation. When setup starts, I get an error saying that I need to install the MAPI subsystem before I install these applications. However, I have installed Outlook 2000 including the workgroup/exchange transport already so I dont know why I am getting this message. I am guessing that it has to do with an XP (in)compatability problem. Anyone have this experience? Anyone have Desktop Messaging working on an XP workstation? Anyone know anyone who has this working at this time? Anyone have 2 fives for a ten? (Just kidding)...
