I have a password on my blackberry. When I link it to my PC, Desktop manager connects to the PC and asks for a password. When I put in the Blackberry pasword it does not work and uses up one of the 10 chances. If I log on to the blackberry itself this resets the 10 chances. Any ideas?

When you entererd the password for the first time in your blackberry device you have may have entered numbers instead of characters (not pressed shift). Have a look at how your password "looks like" on the device and try typing the numbers on the pc keyboard...
