Desktop icons on Windows NT unobtainable.

Hi

We have a site where I am unable to access the desktop icons by either double-clicking or returning on the icon or by right-clicking and selecting Open. I can run some programmes by doing start, run and selecting the .exe by browsing. But I can't do the services.exe using this.

Some of the icons I can look at the properties, but not others.

Does it give you any errors or messages when denying you access to properities or usage?
What kind of rights do you have?

Hi

I am logging in as administrator which gives full rights. This was working fine upto about 3 days ago when the system seemed to go slow. There are no errors within the event viewer or when I double click on the icon. It just doesn't bring up the application.
