Ive wrecked my mind trying to figure this out! Each time I reboot or shut down the computer. I lose printing ability and have to reinstall the drivers. What's causing this and how do I fix, short of reformatting? I have installled the latest drivers. One thing, Im going into Printer properties to manually remove the driver and it wont allow me, instead I get an error that states: Unable to remove XP driver, specified printer driver currently in use. I've loaded a generic printer and made it default and still refuses me to delete. Is there soemthing "stuck" somewhere, if so how do I fix. Running XP Pro, wireless network/not sharing printers. Someone pls help or lead me to the place. Any and all help appreciated.
