Deskjet 6940 prints 1 page at a time

This is a new printer. Twice I have uninstalled the drivers, turned printer off, disconnected all cables, reconnected all cables, turned printer on, reinstalled drivers. This printer only prints one page of a multi page doc at a time. For instance, if I have a 5 page doc I have to print each page separately to obtain a complete doc printout. Couldn't find anyththing on HP site, or through keyword search here.

I use OSX.4 on a powermac G4. Never had issues w/ the deskjet 6540's.

Any help with resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
