Hello all,
we've got a networked (external Jet Direct box) 1220C that, according to the Jet Admin software, is taking itself offline a few seconds after it is switched on.
We have reinstalled the drivers on the queue, recreated the LPR port, reinstalled client PC drivers, replaced the JD box and the parallel cable linking box and printer but no luck.
Our hardware subcontractor can get a manual test page out of the printer and is trying to wash his hands of it.
The HP website has an article on it. Unfortunately their only suggestion is to try pinging the JD box. I have done this and it returned a constant ping fine for a number of minutes.
Any ideas????
