I have a Deskjet 1220C connected to an HP external Jetdirect (300x) print server. I recently began having problems with users printing to it. I checked all connections and everything is fine. I took the print server off and tested it on another printer and it worked fine. I then tried to connect the printer directly to my printer port on my laptop (XP) and after finishing the printer set up, I attempted to print the test page and only got a page with a grey windows logo (distorted).
I am able to send the config page from the print server to the printer and it prints out fine. I'm also able to print a test page from the printer (by holding down the Resume button).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
