I am going to try my best to explain this issue. I am not not much of an IT person more Telephony.

We have a customer running a BCM400 with 3.7. we installed desktop messaging for them, everything is working just fine when they are in the office.

When they are out of the office they VPN into work but are not able to connect to the BCM's IP address to get their messages through outlook.

The IP address is on the same VLAN as their internal network. There IT people are saying that it looks like I do not have something set right on the BCM to allow the IP adress to go through the VPN connection.

We also need this VPN connection for remote admin as well

Is there a setting or settings that I need to do to make this happen. Again sorry for the ignorance on this

Go to Service ->NetLink Manager -> permanent WAN connection and ensure that the next hop router is the default gateway for the LAN. If there are more than one gateway, then you might want to make it the internal IP address of the VPN endpoint.
