I recently replaced a yellow printhead, belt, printhead carriage assembly, and ink tubes assembly. The printer worked great when I was done. The customer just called me and said in the past couple months since I fixed it, it has intermittantly said it needs ink when it really doesn't. He said it's gotten worse over time. I can't find anything in the service manual saying anything about priming it after replacing certain parts, but now I wonder if that's why one of the parts came with 4 little printhead-like cartridges. I called my sales tech support and they think the problem is the interconnect PCA. Also, he just added that it prints pretty slow when he prints large files across the network. Don't know if it's a network issue or memory. He's got 160MB RAM in the printer. I am hoping I can get some insight before Monday when I go over.
